My 19th day as a SendOutCards distributor.

I learned about the power of the Daily 8, and went through more of the training offered by my upline. I especially enjoyed listening to Todd Falcone cold calling business prospects. Hearing how he was able to handle the calls and hear most of the people he called were very receptive.

I have several things I need to print off at work (printer at home is dead) one of them being the hand writing font order form. Even after practicing each letter before adding it to the form I got in the kit, I messed up

This is a classic example why you should NEVER direct link to another person’s images. Basically the seller linked directly to an image on a server he doesn’t have control over (that would be MINE) so I changed the image to get the seller’s attention.

It may be tempting, and perhaps this seller doesn’t understand how things work online. It could very well be an honest mistake. Neverless, let this be a warning to anyone who wants to shortcut things and link directly to an image on someone elses website.

Day 17 as a SendOutCards distributor

Sent out another card today, and finished up my 3rd quarter at school … one week off yeah!!

Yesterday when listening to archives of the conference calls I learned there are some distributors that are doing very well by giving out the Success From Home issue featuring SOC. This is something that piqued my interest because I found that issue to be very informative and can certainly see the benefit of using it as a recruiting tool.

Just a quick update … looked over some of the management tools online, listened to archived conference calls and started recording video for a new – 5 days a week – video tip.

Making a list of businesses that could use SendOutCards for referral marketing … there’s a lot!

I wonder how many potential customers / distributors this one guy has lost!

I was at a stop light on my way to work this morning when I noticed a pick-up truck drive by in the same direction I would be turning. What caught my eye was the brightly colored cans plastered all over the side of his truck. My first thought was the truck belonged to a local bottling company and it wasn’t until I got closer to the truck (after the light turned green) that I noticed those brightly colored cans were efusjon cans.

The same cans from a company that is doing pretty good in the network marketing circles, and was recently featured in Success from home magazine. I also though that was a great way to market your distributorship, but as I got even closer to this truck, I noticed something that I just couldn’t understand.

There was NO contact information on the back of the truck, and I didn’t catch it fast enough to notice if there was any contact information on the side. I just can’t believe someone would go to that kind of effort, and expense and fail to place any way for people to contact them. Obviously the distributor doesn’t realize that people spend far more time looking at the back end of his truck then they do the side, and in my case  – due to traffic – I was never able to get close enough to see if the side had any contact info.

Moral of the story … leave enough in your budget to include contact information if you advertise on your vehicle.

My 15th day as a SendOutCards distributor

I’m almost at a spot where I can start putting in more time to the SendOutCards business. Just in case you don’t know this yet … I’m on a quest to crush any excuse people have for not becoming financially secure. The biggest is anyone who says they don’t have TIME.

Don’t get me wrong, you may have legitimate “Not Enough Time” excuses, but to be honest, they’re just that … EXCUSES! if you REALLY want to change your life you will make the time. I have been the BIGGEST – no time – excuse maker until now. I have to tell you, if I can do this with a full time job as a full time student and 9 kids, then NO ONE has a “no time” excuse that trumps me

I have two more classes this week and then a week off … yeah … I’ll be sure to have a plan of attack to take advantage of the extra time I will have to work the SendOutCards business.

Two weeks as a SendOutCards distributor.

Okay … so it’s been two weeks and it doesn’t feel like I have done much with my new SendOutCards business. After giving this much thought, when I look back over the last two weeks, I haven’t really been able to put much time in. However … the work I have done is extremely important ground laying work. Work that will pay off big later. Once the momentum starts, nothing will be able to stop me

If you’re following along from these early days, you will have noticed the switch has been made to my SendOutCards daily updates. My plan all along was to have the daily updates posted here at TPRweb, but the site wasn’t ready and I didn’t want to delay the posts.

One of the things that I want to stress to you in anything you’re doing … JUST GET STARTED! … I will admit I have been the worst offender of waiting until everything is JUST right. Well … just right NEVER comes and I would get frustrated and lose interest in what ever project I was currently working on. This is a struggle for me, and I’ll be honest, sometimes I feel if I don’t have anything to post why should I post. What I am learning as I force myself to keep up with the updates is to start writing and things will start to flow. If the beginning sounds rough, go back and edit it, but the key is to stay consistent. I have started and stalled enough blogs to know what NOT to do.

So … if you see an update that doesn’t have much meat to it, check back, things will get better but I will have to make an effort to stay consistent.

Yes! … The Powerseller Report ( TPRweb.com ) is back online with a fresh new focus and an attitude you’re going to love!

I’m re-branding myself as the “ex Powerseller”.  The Powerseller Report will now be known for spreading the news about alternative ways to make money – as in alternative to eBay.

This will also give me the opportunity to tell my story with the hopes to inspire others that it’s not too late, and it doesn’t matter how many times you fail (and trust me, I could be an expert at it) as long as you learn from your mistakes and get back in the game.

I didn’t know if the time would ever come, but I’m am extremely excited to be able to start TPRweb back up.
